2010 Grady White Tournament 192 Dual Console Boat Review
Reviewed by Richard Crowder

All new for 2010, the 192 is one of six dual console (called Tournament) models in Grady-White’s line-up of twenty-five models, including center consoles, walkarounds, and express cabin models from almost eighteen to over thirty-six feet in length. This new 192 Tournament fits neatly between the 185 and 205 dual console models. Grady-White has been building boats in Greenville, NC for over fifty years and recently was recognized by J.D. Power & Associates with the “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Coastal Fishing Boats” eight years in a row.
As with all Grady-White models, the Tournament 192 is 100% hand laid fibreglass in the hull and deck with a non-skid fibreglass inner liner and self-draining cockpit with two cockpit drains. Polyurethane closed cell foam injected in the hull gives it level upright flotation even when filled with water and is unsinkable. All stainless steel hardware, fittings, and railings are of 316 grade and through bolted. Through-hull fittings are also stainless steel.
The cockpit is a deep 25” with two padded stern seats and helm and companion pedestal chairs. Either of these chairs can be optionally replaced with multi-adjustable “Deluxe I” pedestal chairs with armrests, or with fold-down “sleeper” seats with storage under. The steering wheel is 316 stainless steel with no-feedback mechanical linkage or with optional hydraulic linkage. Four rod holders are supplied in the gunnels and four horizontal rod storage racks are under the cockpit side coamings.
Storage is found in the passenger console’s lockable glove box, in a lockable console storage compartment, under the portside bow seating plus in a bow compartment and in the forward anchor locker. A windshield wiper is standard on the full-width windshield with side wings and a centre opening walk-through section. Bow side padded seating with padded backrests is standard. Under the starboard bow side seat is an insulated, 42-litre ice box with overboard drain which can be optionally replaced with a 50-litre insulated raw water livewell.
Other notable options include a cockpit freshwater shower, raw water washdown, satellite-ready stereo, “Vista” bimini top with full enclosure, and a bow cover.
