2010 Larson Cabrio 330

Reviewed by Richard Crowder

Larson Cabrio 330

Larson offers five Cabrio mid-cabin express cruisers for 2010 from the 240 to the 370 plus a “Day Cruiser” interior variation for both the 330 and 370. The Cabrio 330 subject of this preview is the mid-cabin model.

It is loaded, and we truly mean loaded, with a long list of standard features and equipment that often would be considered optional on a cruiser of this size.

Starting with the integrated swim platform, the platform extension is standard equipment as is a hot & cold transom shower and dockside water. In the cockpit, the sport arch, fully enclosed colour-matched camper canvas, snap-in carpet, wet bar, refrigerator, and table are included. Ample seating is provided by a starboard-side U-shaped convertible lounge, a two-seater aft of the wet bar, plus a portside sunlounger next to the helm. The dual helm seat is adjustable with forward flip-up bolsters and supplied with footrests. Forward on the deck is an anchor locker with cleat, pulpit and roller plus an electric winch with rope and chain. A bow sunpad with stainless steel rails is also standard.

Down below, the forward cabin features an almost rectangular berth complete with decor package including pillows and shams. A total of nine pillows are provided with the Cabrio 330 plus a full set of towels. The forward clothes locker is lighted and cedar-lined. The standard 5KW generator will power the standard 12,000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioning/heating to keep the cabin comfortable.

The fibreglass-lined head compartment offers a separate shower area with shower curtain, sink, vanity, storage, and an electric head with holding tank and tank level indicator. The portside galley is fully complete too with a DVD player plus stainless steel appliances including electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and sink with granite-look counter top. An alder wood table highlights the large L-shaped convertible dinette couch with “leather-like” covering as has the U-shaped mid-cabin couch which itself converts to a double wide berth. A 20” flatscreen TV is part of the package.

Back up at the helm, tilt steering, a remote-controlled spotlight, engine synchronizer, trim tabs, VHF radio with antenna, hour meters, windshield wiper and stereo remote are all included standard as is dockside power with cord and battery charger. Choose from optional navigation electronics, upgraded stereo components, and an ice-maker.
