crownline 215 ss main

The 215 SS is one of ten models from eighteen to thirty-three feet in Crownline’s Sport Series of bowriders for 2019. Crownline offers a total of thirty-five models of sport, deck, surf, and cuddy cabin boats plus cruisers and sport yachts in seven series from eighteen to thirty-five feet.

The 215 SS rides on Crownline’s patented F.A.S.T. TAB® (Fin Assisted Safe Turn) nineteen degree deadrise hull design featuring vented chines with fin-like tabs to aerate the running surface to reduce drag and increase efficiency. A Delta Performance keel pad assists both planing and efficiency.

Choose two from nine available standard Forte gelcoat hull colours to give you a full hull colour band with accent colour stripe and a middle deck colour band. You may optionally choose from fifteen choices of hull gelcoat patterns plus graphics. With these many choices, you may be assured that your 215 SS will be unique on your lake.

The attractively tapered sheer extends to the rear of the integrated swim platform with its standard grey Moonrock mat covering plus recessed starboard side telescoping four-step boarding ladder. A removable cushion on the starboard side of the full-width, double-wide transom sunpad provides a walk-thru from the platform to the cockpit. The compartment within this walk-thru provides dedicated storage for a portable carry-on cooler.

A flip-up cushion section within the sunpad becomes a double-wide backrest for aft-facing transom seating. Storage is provided within the sunpad and beneath the stern bench seat. Standard cockpit flooring is Highlander snap-in carpet that may be optionally upgraded with Berber snap-in carpet or Driftwood Woven or Moonrock or Teak-Look Mat. Matching Teak-Look mat is also available for the swim platform.

High-back bucket seats with flip-up forward bolsters pamper the driver and front passenger. An in-floor storage compartment between these seats is ideal for watersports accessories. Up front is a dedicated anchor locker and full-height surrounding bolster padding plus angled backrests on the face of each console encourage forward facing lounging in the bow augmented with a pair of flip-up armrests. Storage is provided beneath the bow seat cushions. A bow filler cushion is optional.

The helm and passenger dash both with hand-stitched visor shrouds and in standard Moonrock tones colour co-ordinate with the new standard Pure Platinum Interior colours of soft and medium grey tones. The driver’s dash features a pair of large diameter gauges flanking a vertical pair of small diameter gauges and a Black Diamond steering wheel. A depth sounder with ambient and water temperature readouts is standard as is a Kicker KMC1 Bluetooth compatible AM/FM stereo with USB and auxiliary inputs and six speakers including two at the transom.

Standard power for the 215 SS is a MerCruiser 250 horsepower 4.5L MPI with Alpha outdrive. Other notable standard equipment includes a bimini top with boot in your choice of five available colours, a boat cover, pull-up cleats, a ski tow eye, and a colour-matched Heritage tandem axle swing-tongue trailer.

Upgraded engine choices include a Bravo III outdrive on the standard engine or a move up in horsepower to 300 with a MerCruiser 6.2L MPI with Bravo I or Bravo III drive and with or without DTS ( Digital Throttle and Shift). Similar engine and drive choices from Volvo Penta are also available.

Interior upgrades include a Deluxe Color-Matched Interior, the new Lineage Tri-Color Interior with diamond pattern upholstery, or the new Royal Champagne Interior package which provides Pearl White vinyl with Camel and Dark Oak accents, a Dark Oak helm, an Executive wood steering wheel, and the Teak-Look swim platform mat. You can also choose the Torino interior which gives you Solid Tan vinyl along with the Executive wood wheel.

At the helm you can upgrade to a Black dash combined with Black upholstery accents. Single available options include several stereo upgrades including the main unit, amplifier, speakers, and transom remote. A standard or deluxe Samson Blade wakeboard tower in white or black powder coating and with suntop may be further upgraded with racks and/or speakers and/or an LED lighting package. With this you may want the Perfect Pass Wakeboard Pro with GPS speed control.

Other upgrades include docking lights, a cockpit LED lighting package, bow walk-thru door, cockpit table, underwater lighting, transom trim switch, automatic fire extinguishing system, battery charger, bow and cockpit covers, fender clips, keychain remote control for the courtesy lights, plus trailer accessories.

The Crownline 215 SS truly is a sporty bowrider in its standard configuration and yet may be optioned up with colours, materials, textures, and equipment to surpass possibly your wildest imagination.
