Beautiful 26’ sloop built in 1966 by G.W. Noble in Thornbury, Ontario. Mahogany planked over laminated oak ribs; all bright work is mahogany except Sitka mast/boom. Cabin construction seems to follow 1949 drawing of “Tradewinds” by Crocker except for squaring off of the forward cabin end. Before owners’ death he meticulously maintained boat with yearly re-varnishing of all brightwork, mast and boom. Current owner passed away in 2018 and boat has not been in water since 2017 but was always very watertight. Also a few spots in cockpit and on upper rails where sanded and taped but needs varnish applied. 2 cyl Reynolds diesel engine installed in 1978 and has low mileage and yearly maintenance. Bathroom available but unused by current owners. Forward bunk and 2 side seat/bunks in main cabin. Small sink in main cabin and electrical capabilities but no stove. Includes 3 sails (main, jib and mizzen) with newer storage bags, dockbox, bumpers, cushions and storage trailer. Also included are any tools specific for the boat and motor maintenance, varnish, anti- fouling and outer coating. Inside winter storage for all components yearly. Boat located in Goderich Ontario. Asking $8,000 but reasonable offers will be considered.
