Yemanja is a 46 foot Ferro cement Schooner disigned and built by Hans Knoll 1989. The vessel is a aft cockpit and a schooner rigg with a long ballast keel with two phin keels 5 feet draft . It has six sails, lots of extra ropes, wood blocks, two dinghies, one 9hp outboard , one 85hp Vetus diesel (300 hours) , two very large Danforth anchors, one plow anchor. Internal layout of the vessel is from forward a "vee" berth cabin, next aft is the head (to port) with a hanging locker opposite (to starboard). The saloon comprises of a settee and pilot house are next aft. the Vetus engiene is located under the pilot berth and a fridge to starboard. The engine room and pilot are next aft. The Vetus engiene is located under the pilot house floor and steering is by wheel. It has three large gas and six large water tanks. This 46 foot ferro-cement sailboat had only two owners, both of whom have navigated her. Strong, safe, and very stable hull to sail.
