1977 C&C 30
She is a great freshwater boat and is currently in Collingwood, Ontario in the water and is sailing great once again this year. She is a solid racer/cruiser, loves big wind and we had an exciting and adventurous time circumnavigating Georgian Bay last summer with ease and great reliability. We will miss her and are finding a new home for her as we are moving up to a larger boat with our growing family.

This C&C 30 Mk I Sloop is a sailboat of fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP)
construction using a smooth polyester or epoxy gelcoat finish externally and
multiple layers of woven fiberglass roving and resin forming various thicknesses
for the hull and deck forms, and incorporating FRP encapsulated wood stringer
grid and plywood bulkhead systems glassed to the interior hull sides and bottom.
The 30 MK I features an aft raked fin keel design through bolted to the keel stub
of the hull, and an aft raked spade rudder.
Hull colour is predominately white, with blue waterline stripe. Traditional C&C “star”
and cove stripe is along the hull to deck join.
Charcoal grey anti-fouling paint is applied to the hull below the waterline.
The deck is a one-piece mold of FRP and Balsa wood sandwich core having
encapsulated plywood reinforcing and extra layers of woven roving and fibreglass
cloth in critical stress areas.
Aft, in the cockpit, are bench seats either side to the companionway bulkhead.
Seats have hinged openings to access inside hull storage. A steering pedestal is
located at the rear of the cockpit.
