This is a cruising sailors dream with her wide beam and her commodious interior; she is a sound, solid, well equipped, very well maintained cruising yacht that has been very well cared for by her original owners. She will give her new owners many years of safe and luxurious cruising.

1.  GENERAL

Ocean worthy 1994  Hunter Legend 40.5

Single mast sailboat with inboard diesel engine.  Hull is fiberglass, deck is cored fiberglass.  Galley to port, the vessel is equipped with fridge, freezer, stove and oven. Spacious dinette to port that is convertible to large king size bed and full length settee to starboard. Bow v berth cabin has plenty of storage and hanging locker space as well as its own head and shower with vanity . Aft master stateroom also includes its own head and shower with vanity. 

2.  HULL

Length:  40.5         Beam:    13’6”    Draft:     4’10” 

Fiberglass hull with Fiberglass Cored Deck.   All has a gel coat finish on it.  

Propellers:   Martec 2 Blade 18x15 P 1 1/4

Rudders:  Spade Lead Core Rudder  

Stuffing boxes:  Good Condition 

Keel:  Lead Wing Keel

No signs of delamination or osmosis.  Hull in very good condition.   

 3.  SEA CONNECTIONS

 All sea connections in good working condition. 

 4. ENGINE ROOM

 Engine: Yanmar,   50HP,  Diesel, Type  4JH2E, Antifreeze cooled, Single Lever engine Controls, Auxiliary alternators are fitted and capable of fully charging house batteries in one hour. Exhausted thru manifold and out stern of vessel.  One auto Electric Bilge midship and one Manual Whale Gusher Bilge located midship. All gauges in good working condition- RPM, Oil Pressure, Temperature, and Hour Meter (2976 HR).

Engine, Charging, Exhaust and bilge systems in very good condition. 

5.    DECK EQUIPMENT

Swept back spreaders, large mainsail, Furling Headsail, Single line reefing as well as sail flaking.  1 #0 Lewmar, 1 44 Lewmar, 2, 48 Lewmar Winches.  Windlass Anchor system.  Stainless bow pulpit enclosure.  All Applicable Navigation Lights

  6.   NAVIGATION EQUIPMENT

Standard Horizon GX1500S VHF, Raytheon R20XX Radar, Autohelm Auto Pilot, Autohelm Tri Data, Ritchie Liquid Filled Compass and Nav Pod with GPS Chart CP 590.

 7.  FUEL TANKS AND SYSTEM

 One secured vented aluminum 40 US gallons tank located at stern of vessel as per factory installation
