Considered the most spacious 38 foot motor yacht ever made, the Carver 3807 Aft Cabin provides live-aboard comfort and sturdy construction. Carver's innovative solid glass stringer construction has no wood core below the water line, thus eliminating stringer rot that can occur in other boat types of this era. The timeless design still looks contemporary and this boat shines like new.
This boat is versatile! It is perfect for anchoring out next to a sandbar for a day's swim, or provision it for a month or longer trip in Georgian Bay or the Trent Canal System. Originally designed to easily sleep 6, (two in master aft cabin, two side by side in the forward cabin, and two on the convertible kitchen table), there is a removeable additional "bunk" style bed added to the forward cabin for a total of three in the front berth. This is the perfect boat for a family of 5 (no need to convert kitchen each night) or two couples travelling together, each with their own washrooms with walk in showers.
Included in the price of the boat are the following significant extras:

Additional Details:
This boat was primarily used for holiday cruising on the Trent Waterway and day anchorages. The majority of the time the boat was run at 1500 to 1800 rpm (7 to 8 knots). Once a year the boat was taken up on the plane to clean out the engines at 3800 rpm (20 to 22 knots).
The best feature of this boat is the bridge with easy access steps. Everyone gravitates to the spacious and comfortable bridge when underway for spectacular views. It has a forward facing front bench seat for four adults. Beside the Captain's chair there is a now newly raised bench seat for three (with map storage underneath) which now looks out at the same level as the Captain, over those sitting in front. At anchor you have your choice of sitting on the back deck, sunning on the front sun pad or taking a dip off the back swim deck.
We love this boat!!! Reason for selling - personal medical issues.
