Erika II is a modified version of the classical Fortune 30 built for the west coast. The rudder was reinforced with a boot tying it to the trailing edge of the full keel providing for greater protection. A fully enclosed wooden pilothouse with an inside helm has been added to make this smart little boat an ideal cruiser for the west coast.

The interior looks rustic but she's got the essentials; two burner propane stove top, diesel space heater, pressurized water, enclosed marine head. There are five single berths: two in the forward cabin, one starboard side of main salon, one each port and starboard below the pilothouse.

The hull was made in 1969 out of the same mold that Cooper used to build the highly regarded Fortune 30. The engine was upgraded in 1988 and a bow thruster was added some time later. The owner has been sailing her since she was first launched and now his advanced years mean he has to part with her.
