The wife says my boat must go :(
This a beautiful and only lightly used Starcraft Storm 166 SC in Gunmetal Metallic with Yamaha 70hp outboard with very few hours on it (fully broken in). Purchased in 2023 and used occasionally for 2 seasons. This boat is light and easy to trailer, very smooth and capable on the water, and extremely stable and comfortable even with 3-4 full sized adult anglers onboard. Top speed is around 50-55 kph but I rarely went there, so it could be better under the right conditions.
Trolling motor is significantly upgraded from stock - installed is a Minn Kota Terrova 24v/80lb thrust with Spot Lock and many other extra features (a basic Minn Kota Powerdrive 12v without Spot Lock came standard - I paid $2,414 extra for this trolling motor upgrade - but you'll be pleasd because Spot Lock is a total game changer on the water). Comes with a great trailer (4 pin connector), boat cover with snaps and ratchet straps, transom saver, wheel chocks, and silicon coated steering wheel knob in addition to all of the standard and optional features below, as taken from the Starcraft website:
I will also include all of my accessories, which are probably worth over $700-800:
You will see new models of the Starcraft Storm 166 SC or SC Pro on sale for between $39k-42k in southern Ontario but keep in mind that while those sometimes have 90hp motors (which is a lot for a small boat like this), they also seem to be offered without a trolling motor in most cases (for this model that upcharge would be at least $2,500 and probably closer to $3,500 with the USD conversion and installation + additional 12v battery and power management system) nor will they give you any accessories upon purchase. Also, their price may or may not include the standard dealership charges for Freight, PDI, documentation fees and licensing fees, which amounted to over $4k where I bought this boat. My price assumes 9% depreciation from my pre-HST brand new purchase price of $41k in 2023. I'm trying to be as transparent as possible on pricing. If you have any additional questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you.
This is a beauty of a summer fishing boat and I'm going to be sad to let her go, but happy wife happy life and all that!
