This well maintained Canadian made ‘Cooper Prowler’ has a Deep V planning hull, constructed of hand laid FRP [fibreglass] was built during an era where quality of construction was great. For a vessel with 37 years of enjoyment in coastal British Columbia’s waters, past and present owners have continued to keep the vessel in good
order.
The interior layout of the Sedan, is a step down aft stateroom with queen berth.
The main salon has access to the aft deck with a door and steps on the starboard side.
Opening windows provide exception ambient light.
Forward to starboard is the vessel helm station with associated control panel and gauges along with navigational aids.
To the Port side is the dining area and access to the vessels batteries beneath the seating.
Forward of the dining area stepping down is the galley. A full complement of appliances is laid out well with lots of ambient light, ample storage cupboards/ cabinets and a hardwood sole.
The head is to Starboard across from the galley and a spacious V berth forward completes the vessel interior.
Woodwork throughout the vessel has been well maintained. Carpets and curtains are original but in good condition.
Beneath the sole are areas that are storage, an access to the vessels operating system such as the vessel’s electrical systems, water pumps and other onboard systems.
It is noted in the 2023 Marine Survey [out of water] that the interior is near stock and orderly and that many internal systems had been renewed by past and present owners.
This included all tankage, engines and electronics with all in working and serviceable condition.
Documentation of the upgrades and labeling on on-board systems are excellent and great care and pride of ownership is consistent throughout the vessel.
POWER
Twin Mercruiser 350MPI V8 MPI Horizon motors, salt water cooled, with the starboard engine new in 2000 and the port engine upgraded and both have been well maintained.
New risers are evident and all systems in the engine compartment well organized and identified.
Advanced Marine in Campbell River, replaced the engine and has done the repairs and service work for both engines
Access to the engines is beneath the Queen Berth in the aft stateroom.
A Onan OMAJB generator is also located in this area on the starboard side of the stateroom.
Solas MF3x18.75” x17” 3 bladed propellors are installed on the Mercruiser outboard legs.
Sea Star Hydraulic Steering system to both helm and bridge stations
Trim Tabs are electric driven hydraulic with control tabs and the helms.
TANKAGE FUEL
Fuel Capacity is 450 litres in a Stainless Steel vented tank with USCG-A-1 fuel lines
Two Water Separators
There is a 37 litre Stainless Steel tank to supply Diesel fuel to the vessels furnace system.
TANKAGE WATER
Fresh water is contained in a 190 litre Stainless Steel tank and there is a 100 litre Bladder, located forward beneath the V berth for added capacity.
A PRO MAX 42630-2900 pump provides pressured water.
The Hot Water is contained in a 40 litre Atwood R49056 tank.
TANKAGE WASTE
A 180 litre Stainless Steel holding tank is supported by a JABSCO 18590-000 Macerator Pump and in the main cabin there is a TANK WATCH system to monitor volume.
PUMPS BILGE
There is a Manual Pump in the main salon accesses beneath the hatch aft of the helm station.
Rule 1500 with float switch in the engine room aft.
ShurFlo pump in the storage area beneath the main salon.
