1976 Silverton/Mainship 34T:
The Silverton/Mainship 34T was marketted under the Silverton banner for 1 year. Then Silverton and Mainship merged and the 34T was thereafter sold under the Mainship name.
This Silverton/Mainship 34 Mark I is the perfect choice for cruisers seeking a comfortable, stable, and fuel-efficient vessel. Powered by a 250 HP Cummins 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with around 2500 hours, it has a top speed of about 16.5 knots. It could make quick work of a Gulf Stream crossing to the Bahamas. Equally, it is quite at home cruising at 7 knots through the Thousand Islands while burning just 1.5 gallons per hour. Its versatility, range and economy are impressive. This is a registered, not licensed, vessel.
