bennington 2375 rsb stern

Bennington’s R Series of Custom Performance pontoon boats offers over fifty combinations of floor plans. As one of five Bennington series plus additional sub-series, there are over two hundred floor plan choices starting at sixteen feet, mostly outboard powered with some stern drives.

The “RSB” defines an R-Series, “Swingback”, describing Bennington’s Swingback Stern Lounger which is only found in this R-Series and the Q-Series and only in 23 and 25 foot lengths. This four person Swingback Stern Lounge occupies almost the entire stern from the port side panel across to the starboard side walk-thru to the aft deck.

With this lounge, there is no requirement for a stern panel (fence) and thus the aft quarter portion of the side panels are allowed to curvaceously taper right down to the deck level. The forward-facing stern seat forms the front portion of this lounge and its seatback pivots forward to form the backrest of the aft-facing lounge, and thus the “swingback” description.

The stern seat portion of this lounge is adjoined to a port side three person lounge seat thus forming L-shaped lounge seating. A pop-up privacy enclosure is within the port side stern lounge. Ahead of this lounge on the port side is a side entry gate. Ahead of this on the port side and opposite on the starboard side is a pair of bow loungers with fold-down armrests with built-in cupholders and USB ports.

New for 2016, the Affluence™ Soft Touch upholstery is two-toned and with four standard colour choices and three standard trim accent colours. All furniture is constructed with Duraframe seat bases with built-in storage beneath powder coated hinged seat cushions.

Standard flooring is Mocha Palm or Platinum Herringbone carpet with Merideck® vinyl on the aft deck. A self-draining bench seat cooler is standard as is a waste container, stainless steel cupholders, two portable cupholders, an interior dimming light switch, plus six illuminated speakers for the Kicker KMC stereo with dash remote.

To the one-piece molded helm console with built-in footrest and storage compartment is mounted a new for 2016 restyled V2 Pure Comfort swivel, reclining captain’s chair with integrated headrest and folding armrests. This helm features a 15-inch Seastar Sport Plus tilt steering wheel with Espresso teak accents facing a new for 2016 backlit V3 brushed aluminum Sterling gauge package including, tach, fuel, volt, trim, hour meter and GPS-driven speedo with compass heading. A Garmin Echo 100 fish/depth graph is also standard.

The 2375 RSB also gives you ten standard choices of panel colours, three canvas colour choices for the standard 10-foot Surlast® bimini top with boot and mooring cover, LED docking lights, plus underdeck spray deflectors. The standard pair of 25-inch diameter pontoons allows your choice of outboard brands up to 150 horsepower. Several choices of Performance Package upgrades will increase the person carrying capacity from eleven through to fourteen and horsepower to a maximum of 300. With these Performance Packages come a number of very useful and valuable operating enhancements.

A comprehensive option list allows you to even further upgrade your boat both to enhance your boating enjoyment and also to personalize it to your particular tastes. For example, there are five accent colour choices for the exterior panels, a Vapor graphics option, or choose the Blackout Edition option. Similarly, choose Diamond Pressed or Pillow-top upholstery with or without colour stitching.

Flooring is next with a huge selection of twenty-eight choices and/or combinations available for the main and aft decks in colours, texture, and material including carpet, vinyl, Seagrass, teak, or linen. Canvas additions include single or double curved bimini tops with or without Blue Ice LED lighting and with or without electric or hybrid re-tractability, plus a camper enclosure.

At the helm, add a flip-up forward bolster to the seat or upgrade to an extra-wide reclining captain’s chair, with or without bolster or an adjustable height pedestal, an elevated helm console, upgraded Corvina steering wheel, hydraulic steering, upgraded stereo with Wet Sounds, amplifier, and sub-woofer, and upgraded Garmin GPS graphs for fishing or navigation.

Entertainment upgrades include a bow seat gate, coffee table, an ottoman and/or refreshment table with built-in cooler, rectangular bow table, or even a bow and/or stern chaise galley. Add to this all sorts of Blue Ice LED lighting options including underwater, cupholder, and side railing. Pop-up cleats are available as is a Porta-Potti and ski pylon. A centre tube as part of a Performance Package allows you to choose a handy in-floor storage locker.

Refined and sporty relaxation – the essence of Bennington’s 2375 RSB.
