Originally built by Jeff Noble of Thornbury Ontario she is a full keel classic cruiser restored in the 80's & recently (2017-2018) given a full re-finish. Inside & out Jack Tar is pristine & reflects the high standards of her knowledgeable owner. The reliable Atomic 4 was re-built in 2011. White oak frames & timbers, Honduras mahogany planking, mahogany marine ply decks on white oak beams. Decks are epoxied & glassed over. All varnished brightwork is done to yacht standards. The interior offers a generous forward berth, 2 settees in the main salon & an athwartships galley. Recently reupholstery & all interior surfaces freshly painted or varnished.

Jack Tar underwent a 2 year re-finishing in a covered shop in 2017 & 2018. Decks were stripped, epoxied & painted, all brightwork was stripped & varnished. Topsides & interior all re-painted. Mast stripped & re-finished.
Basic 12v system with cabin & running lights, 2 batteries with Marine charger wired in. Signet Bi-data instrumentation, Ritchie compass, & VHF radio.
Large V berth with the marine head stored beneath. Hanging lockers port & starboard. Opposing settees with storage compartments & shelves outboard. The galley features a pressurized alcohol stove, sink with manual cold water taps & stainless steel counter top. Ice box & ample storage on both sides. Standing headroom. New upholstery.
Sitka spruce mast, boom & spinnaker pole. Mainsail, working jib, genoa & spinnaker.
Bow & stern pulpits, lifelines & stanchions, stern boarding ladder. Anchor rollers at the bow & stern. Boom gallows. All mahogany brightwork recently varnished including main hatch, dorade boxes, grab rails, gunwhales & forward hatch. Brass dorades vents.
