Leo is a custom built performance trailerable sloop. Designed by Gildas Plessis & built with Okuma plywood & WEST system epoxy to high standards. Large open cockpit with all sail handling easily accessible. The interior features bunks fore & aft with a galley midship on the port side. An enclosed head is aft to port. A unique vessel with well engineered systems throughout. Currently lying in Penetanguishene.
Compass mounted on bulkhead, Raytheon ST 40 Tri data, VHF radio, stereo, shore power & charger. Autohelm 1000.
Tandem axle road & launching trailer. Anchor, fenders, lines & safety gear. Mercury 15 hp outboard needs to be serviced.
The forward berth is a good sized double & the aft cabin to starboard also has a good sized berth. The head is private to aft port. The galley is midships & has sink, 1 burner alcohol stove & small fridge. Counter & electrical panels to starboard.
The large cockpit offers full range of sail handling & comfortable seating. Twin rudders. Open transom. All lines lead aft through deck organizers & line stoppers to Harken self tailing winches. Rigid boom vang. Extendable spinnaker pole. Double lifelines, bow pulpit & push pits. Furling gear. 4 sails including solent jib & spinnaker. Harken self tailing primaries. Double spreader rig by US Spars. Deck stepped with compression post.
The outboard is housed in a well with lifting & dropping mechanisms. The centreboard is hydraulically controlled from the cockpit.
