The completely new Legend 38 has been styled by top US designer Glenn Henderson to provide a sporty and contemporary exterior design with an exceptionally spacious and airy interior.

The efficient sail plan makes the Legend 38 an excellent performer and will cover long distances with ease and comfort. The B&R double spreader, fractional rig has the traditional Legend extended roach with no backstay and smaller headsail for easier sail handling and minimal crew requirements. Using the latest computer 3D-simulation software as used in the aviation industry, the hull has been meticulously designed to complement the efforts of the keel and rudder resulting in an exceptionally well balanced and stable yacht.

The interior is a key factor in all Legend yachts and the 38 has excelled in its ability to provide a larger living area than would be expected in a 38 foot boat. A generous 6'6" headroom adds to the spacious feel, with solid teak trim and cedar lined cupboards to provide an air of luxury. Considerable natural light is provided by fixed and opening ports in the main saloon.

The well planned galley has Corian work surfaces, dual stainless steel sinks and cooker, while the spacious navigation area has room for charts, electronics and communication equipment.

The aft double master cabin uses the full width of the yacht and has a separate seating area, abundant storage cupboards and an ensuite heads and shower, also accessible from the main companionway. The forward guest cabin has a V berth and hanging lockers while a further twin berth can be created in the main saloon.

Le plan de voile efficace fait du Legend 38 un excellent interprète et couvrira de longues distances avec facilité et confort. Le gréement fractionné à double épandeur B&R a le gardon allongé Legend traditionnel sans recul et une voile de tête plus petite pour une manipulation plus facile de la voile et des exigences minimales de l’équipage. En utilisant le dernier logiciel de simulation 3D informatique utilisé dans l’industrie aéronautique, la coque a été méticuleusement conçue pour compléter les efforts de la quille et du gouvernail, ce qui donne un yacht exceptionnellement bien équilibré et stable.

L’intérieur est un facteur clé dans tous les yachts Legend et le 38 a excellé dans sa capacité à fournir un espace de vie plus grand que ce à quoi on pourrait s’attendre dans un bateau de 38 pieds. Une généreuse hauteur libre de 6 pi 6 po ajoute à la sensation d’espace, avec des garnitures en teck massif et des armoires doublées de cèdre pour offrir un air de luxe. Une lumière naturelle considérable est fournie par des ports fixes et ouvrants dans le salon principal.

La cuisine bien planifiée a des surfaces de travail en Corian, deux éviers en acier inoxydable et une cuisinière, tandis que la zone de navigation spacieuse a de la place pour les cartes, l’électronique et les équipements de communication.
