Description

Sails and Rigging

Cutter-rigged with a 110% jib on a furler; a hanked-on inner staysail with one reef; and a main sail with 2 reefs, mounted with a Tides Marine track and slide system.

Engine and Propulsion System

Auxiliary power is a Yanmar 2GM20F 18 hp diesel engine with fresh-water cooling. Current engine-hours reading is 1,167.4.

Navigation and Electronics

Principal navigational aid is a Raymarine GPS receiver mounted on the stern rail, wired for laptop-based navigation software. For self-steering the boat is equipped with a Raymarine ST2000+ tiller pilot.

Electrical

Factory wired for 110V shore power, with 5 outlets below. Main power (12 V), is charged (by the standard engine alternator) and from a 110-12 V shorepower converter, or from a 60-W solar panel mounted on the seahood. 

Mechanical and Accessories

This boat has an Airhead composting toilet (original fixed toilet plumbing, including a pump-out facility, is still in place).  

An Espar diesel-fired  furnace provides forced-air heating down below.

Canvas

A removable bimini protects most of the cockpit area.
