Greavette had learned his trade from Henry Ditchburn, a master craftsman regarded by many as the father of Muskoka boat building. Greavette was noted for his business acumen and sales, and served Ditchburn well as his vice-president of sales. But eventually he grew restless and wanted to branch out in his own direction. In 1930, Greavette began his own company and was one of the first boat manufacturers in Muskoka (and perhaps anywhere in Canada) to try assembly-line construction.

Designed by John Hacker and built by Greavette Boats, this fine example has spent its life in the Muskoka's.  More details on the ownership history to come.  This vessel just recently underwent a complete restoration and it show.  Available by appointment only.
