Description

Arguably the most well known Hatteras Sportfish in the Caribbean run by legendary Captain Billy Black has come to the market. "Duchess" has ventured and seen more water than most will see in their lifetime. She has served her role as a well known charter boat out of Walkers Cay Bahamas for nearly 35 years. Duchess has endured many upgrades and refits in her lifetime most notably in 2015 and again in 2018. Her interior is a true classic and a MUST SEE, the layout is a 3 stateroom 2 head configuration and lined in high gloss teak afromosia. The entire interior was refit including headliners, cabinetry, lighting, appliances and a new sole in 2015. She is powered by a pair of Cummins 903 engines and a Northern Lights generator serves her electrical needs. Nearly every system and component of Duchess has been updated or upgraded. As the years have gone by Duchess has safely served and created memories for thousands of families and guest and has been featured on many fishing shows and fished many tournaments. The time has come that she finds a new home to continue her legacy and bring new memories to her next family. • Cockpit
  

  The cockpit of Duchess is where "Memories are made"! Her most iconic feature is her original gin pole located on the port side near her aft steering station. In the center of the cockpit is a large Rybovich fighting chair and rocket launcher (An additional teak ladder back is also included with the chair). Moving to starboard is the custom built in refrigerated drink box and freezer. Access to the flybridge is center line and cockpit has been refinished with an AWLGRIP non-skid sole. The Salon door is a custom made solid teak door with 23 coats of varnish ad clear. Other items include but are not limited to:
