Leisure and adventure
This is a robust, durable and sporty touring kayak for rivers and lakes; because it is as sleek and fast as a hard shell boat, yet more capsize stable and easier to transport. Thanks to its professional design, it is also suitable for multi-day trips along the seashore: The inflatable ESCAPE 2 kayak combines all these – except for one thing: it is not made for just one person alone. This sea kayak has been designed for two persons to enjoy freedom together!
The boat
Sleek glider
The narrow, athletic ESCAPE 2 features a sleek design for two people who wish to stay in contact with each other and the boat!
Long body
Effortlessly the ESCAPE cuts through the water.
The long water line of 500cm offers very little resistance and makes it a child’s play to move forward easy.
Under control with your hip
The new designed V-shaped body with downward-shifting floor and the pronounced centre tube stabilise the ESCAPE and keeps it on course. That makes the ESCAPE run exeptionally smoothly and directionaly stable!
The pronounced upper side shape offers two benefits:
1. Great hip contact to the boat
2. Plenty of buoyancy when edging
So that you keep control at all times!
 NOTE TILT BEHAVIOR:
The special boat shape reacts sensitively to lateral weight shifts. This makes the kayak easy to edge in moving water .
Deck for experts
The deck is made of waterproof Grabner rubber boat skin and fixed permanently to the body of the kayak. This way you will always stay dry underneath the deck.
After paddling splashing water drips off and the kayak can be packed dry in no time.
The cockpit can be covered with an optional sprayskirt additional protection in rough waters or on cold days.
Thanks to the flat deck cross wind has only little contact surface, for easy run also on breezy days.
 
Ready for more
The ESCAPE 2 can easily accommodate extra loads for adventure trips.
This kayak offers plenty of space under the foredeck and reardeck, it is also possible to secure additional watertight bags on the deck.
Close at hand
The serial bow- and middle net keeps water bottles and much more ready to hand.
With small hooks watertight bags an be placed on top of the nets.
Comfortably cushioned
The robust seats suit perfect for touring requirements.
The flat seat surface ensures a low center of gravity for highest capsize stability.
The backrest can be adjusted to the desired angle and for the relaxed paddler it is optionally available with a higher backrest.
 Support for your feet
Even the ESCAPE 2 is equipped with continuously adjustable foot braces, which come as standard to ensure a firm hold and proper posture.
Solid bow reinforcements
The bow reinforcement strake is extremely strong and protects the boat when it comes into contact with stones and rocks.
Stern & bracket plate
The stern bracket, which is included as standard, allows you to mount an optional steering device or electric motor.
Recommendation: If you paddle with two people, the kayak is easier to steer with the steering device. Current, waves and wind are easily compensated with the steering device,
without the need to steer in coordination with the two double paddles.
Electric motor
The optional electric motor can be mounted at the rear in just a few simple steps. The motor bracket simply plugs in where the steering device would go. You steer as usual with the foot pedals, and control speed comfortably with a wrist-mounted remote.
 In the standard setting, you quietly cruise at around 4 km/h for about four hours.
If you also paddle, both speed and range increase – perfect for longer trips, or for days when you just want to enjoy the view without much effort. Simply glide along and experience the freedom on the water.
