Chaparral 310 Signature

Chaparral Boats of Nashville, GA has been building fibreglass boats for forty-four years and has collected numerous achievement awards over that time. For 2010, the all new 310 Signature is one of twenty-five models in seven series from nineteen to forty feet.

The single-level cockpit of the 310 Signature gives the feeling of extra spaciousness in this most important area of any express-type cruiser. Two seating arrangements are available. Standard seating includes a single helm bucket seat with up/down and fore/aft adjustment, plus a double-wide passenger seat allowing three to sit side-by-side. Behind these is a rear-facing couch opposite the normal aft couch. Optional is a rear bench and nifty power-operated transom lounge that converts to a sun deck. A removable side-mount table fits between the two facing couches. A cockpit wet bar with portable Igloo cooler is standard.

The helm is stylish yet functional with digital instrumentation and a mahogany-rimmed steering wheel. Optional is a 5212 Garmin 12” colour touchscreen display with weather receiver and heading sensor. A full-width and length fibreglass hardtop with enclosure is standard along with a flip-up hatch allowing stand-up walk-thru access to the foredeck. The patented “Wide Tech” design of the foredeck provides a larger, squared-off flattened section at the bow to aid in docking and anchoring manoeuvres.

Down below, Chaparral has maximized space by utilizing the backrest portion of an unusually large L-shaped lounge as a power-operated foot extension to the forward full-size bed. An electrically inflated air mattress converts the remainder of this large dinette lounge to another double bed. There is stand-up headroom in the mid-cabin and the backrests of its L-shaped lounge convert that area to a bed, thus allowing comfortable sleeping for six adults in the cabin. The main cabin flatscreen TV electrically pivots to face any part of the interior.

Headroom in the main cabin is a very commendable 6’3”. The fibreglass head compartment contains a shower, vanity, stainless sink, power vent, and a vacuflush head with china bowl as standard. A single burner stove plus stainless steel microwave and refrigerator are standard in the galley.
