All new for 2015, the DC 325 Dual Console bowrider becomes the largest in Pursuit’s three model line-up of dual consoles – the smallest being the DC 235 and in the middle, Pursuit’s most popular-selling boat, the DC 265. This new DC 325 allows Pursuit’s dual console customers an avenue to move up to more size, more room, and more amenities.

For 2015, Pursuit Boats of Fort Pierce, Florida, part of the Tiara Yacht family, offers a total of fifteen models from twenty-three to forty-one feet in center consoles, dual-consoles, offshore walkaround cabin boats, plus the revolutionary SC 365 Sport Coupe express cruiser with Integrated Outboard Technology.

Riding on a brand new hull of thirty-four feet, six inches length overall on a wide ten foot, ten inch beam, the DC 325 shares this deep, dry-riding hull with its brand new sister offering, the OS 325 Offshore walkaround cabin model. Pursuit has loaded both of these new models with the latest of its engineering innovations including integrated transom platform extensions which provide greater access out beyond the transom and beside the twin Yamaha outboards making water access and landing fish much easier.

Also incorporated in both of these new models is Pursuit’s fully integrated fiberglass hardtop with wrap-around glass and visor engineered with a custom tempered glass windshield system, composite frame forward and bonded to the fiberglass hardtop. With this unique bonding system, the normally found forward hardtop support structure is not required thus giving unobstructed sightlines and not necessitating the use of the normal hardtop-to-windshield connecting clear canvas strip.

The DC 325 Dual Console is loaded with factory standard features to provide the ultimate in versatility of use, be that fishing, day cruising, entertaining, watersports, or simply practical on-water transportation for people and goods. In fact, the list of factory standard equipment is extensive and includes many features normally found as optional. Let’s explore some of these.

Bronze is used for all thru-hull fittings below the waterline; the forward hull is compartmentalized with its own 1100 GPH bilge pump with automatic float switch; the integrally molded thru-stem anchor system has its own both fresh and raw water washdowns and comes standard with a stainless steel plow style anchor, chain, rode plus an electric anchor windlass with both helm and remote controls; a 3 hp bow thruster with its own battery is standard as are auto-retract trim tabs with indicator lights. The deck and cockpit liner is one single molded piece for long-term integrity and strength.

The high freeboard forward and interior cockpit depth promotes the suitability of big water use intended for the DC 325. Bow seating is deep and fully padded on all surfaces with lounging capabilities, folding armrests plus finished insulated storage below. A forward cockpit table with bow sunpad filler cushion is standard. The adjustable, double-wide helm seat with folding armrests and folding footrest/platform faces a hinged, fold-out dash module designed for ease of installation and maintenance and comes with stainless steel tilt wheel with control knob and non-slip grip.

Opposite the helm is a U-shaped passenger lounge. Cockpit seating includes an aft-facing seat with insulated storage below plus both portside and transom patented fold-up bench seating, all upholstered with dri-fast foam and mesh backing. A custom molded cockpit table with two mounting locations and dedicated storage is standard.

Other notable standard equipment includes a seven speaker entertainment system with amplifier and three remotes; molded cockpit entertainment center with sink plus hot and cold water; stainless steel drawer refrigerator; port and starboard insulated fishboxes; lighted, 24 gallon recirculating livewell; cockpit tackle center; fresh and raw water washdowns; fore and aft spreader lights; four tri-colour LED hardtop lights; articulated windshield wiper with washer; shore power with isolation transformer; four battery system with 40 AMP charger; dockside water inlet; hot water heater and cockpit shower.

Unique, single, dual-action console access doors lead to a portside convertible single berth with rod storage located beneath the passenger lounge and to a starboard side enclosed head compartment complete with corian® countertop, molded sink with hot and cold shower wand, and vacuum flush marine head with holding tank.

The notably short optional equipment list includes a cockpit grill, ski tow bar, underwater lights, remote spotlight, stainless steel retractable electric cockpit sunshade, canvas enclosure coverings, outriggers and additional rod holders, console and/or bridge area reverse cycle heating/air conditioning, and a 4.2 kw Fischer Panda® diesel generator. Standard, and in fact the only available factory power for the DC 325 is twin Yamaha® 300 horsepower electronic Four-Stroke outboards with available Yamaha Helm Master™ single joystick steering system control. Optimum cruising speed with these motors is almost 34 mph at 4000 RPM with a top speed of 51 mph.
