Legend cottage q-series main

With every Legend boat, be it one of twenty models of aluminum family fishing boats in five series, one of the four models of deck boats, or one of the twenty-eight models of pontoon boats across four series, you know very quickly what you are getting. Each model in each series has a comprehensive list of standard equipment and relatively very few options from which to choose.

Let’s take the Q-Series Cottage pontoon boat. As with all six models in the Q-Series, aside from layout or length, selecting horsepower from a Mercury outboard, and whether you want two tubes or three, there are exactly three options from which to choose: a trailer, a mooring cover, and a Ram mount for the standard in-dash Humminbird® Helix 5 GPS/depth/fishfinder.

If you want more (or less) in a boat, choose one from a different series to get more (or less) standard or upgraded equipment. This simplifies the selection process immeasurably and makes it very easy to comprehend quickly exactly what you are getting.

The Q-Series Cottage is available with two or three twenty-five inch diameter pontoons. The two-tube version is twenty-one feet, five inches length overall, is rated for ten persons capacity, holds 95 liters of fuel, and offers your choice from a 40 to 115 horsepower Mercury 4-Stroke outboard. The three-tube version is just over a foot longer, is rated for twelve persons, holds 143 liters of fuel, and can be powered from 90 to 200 horsepower.

The third tube upgrade comes with Legend’s Sport Pro Performance Package which adds lifting strakes on all three tubes, an integrated transom, and an under-floor aluminum performance shield designed to deflect water away and increase performance. Hydraulic assist steering is included with the package. With the higher horsepower available and the addition of the third tube, watersports activities, handling, and performance are all improved. All tubes feature three separate pressurized sections and full length protective extruded keels.

The floorplan layout of the Q-Series Cottage is unique with its three-person aft-facing couch covering the port side of the stern that replaces the full stern fencing normally found. The starboard end of the couch connects to fencing within which is the stern entry gate. The stern platform is full-width and accommodates watersports activities by utilizing a starboard side stainless steel boarding ladder with raised side handholds.

This aft-facing stern couch backs onto the stern portion of the cockpit portside L-shaped lounge with augmented backrest. A floor-mounted L-shaped moulded table with integrated cupholders services this lounge. Ahead of this lounge is the port side entry gate.

The bow section features a pair of comfy two or cozy three-person couches with forward curved sections. The starboard side couch has a similar augmented backrest to facilitate forward-facing stretch out lounging. Centered at the bow between these two couches is a third entry gate leading to a shorter full-width bow platform. All couches and lounges feature sculptured roto-cast bases with integrated drains. All have storage compartments beneath the well upholstered seat cushions.

The driver is pampered with a plush padded high back adjustable and swivel captain’s chair with slider, armrests, and recliner. A tilt steering wheel faces a fibreglass molded console with integrated storage and charcoal dash above which is a removable tinted windscreen. Chrome bezeled speedometer, tachometer, and fuel gauges are provided as are illuminated DC switches and a 12-volt power outlet. An in-dash Humminbird® Helix 5 GPS/Fish/Depth finder is provided as is an AM/FM stereo with MP3 port, Bluetooth capability, and four speakers.

The portside bow couch encloses a handy and useful standard flip-up integrated change room. Flooring throughout is upgraded to “Plush Soft-Step” DuraWeave. Additional standard equipment includes a bimini top, docking lights with integrated navigation lights, blue under-deck perimeter LED lighting, interior LED ambient lighting as well as courtesy lighting, and a total of seven drink holders.

The Legend Q-Series Cottage is most complete as a standard package with very few decisions to make regarding outfitting. It is ready as presented for your family enjoyment.
