In the seemingly endless myriad of pontoon options, layouts, and configurations, there are few that stand out amongst the crowd as strikingly as the Princeraft Vogue Series. Available in 23, 25, and 27 foot lengths, Vogue delivers style with a blend of fashion and a passion for adrenaline.

The new Vogue 25 WRL was still under embargo when we tested, so thank you to Princecraft for granting our team the opportunity to experience yet another marvel in the Vogue Series. The ‘W’ in the model code stands for, at least in my mind, windshield, and the windshield on this watercraft is an extension of her exceptional creature comforts.

Before going inside we paused dockside to admire her outside features. The Vogue statement starts here as the engineers abstained from traditional aluminum fencing in favour of thermoformed composite side panels (ABS), which create a smooth aesthetic, utilizing zero vertical rails and showcasing great curves and contours. Featuring integrated docking lights, exterior lights, and lighted Vogue logos, her exterior brings forth thoughts of romantic cruises with your special someone.

The composite side panels enrich the appearance and feel of all three entry gates, each of which utilizes unique and secure latching locks. Did I mention that the bow and port side doors both feature integrated windows? Great for four legged friends, and extremely handy when docking on the port side.

Our test package was dressed up in the Platinum Edition package which added premium Cognac and Black upholstery paired with Infinity Brown vinyl Sea Grass flooring. We were also treated to the premium sound system which adds a 15” Simrad touch screen at the helm, Nertz Capri sound system with 6 high power speakers and sub woofer, as well as a stern mounted remote control. All kinds of bling on this Vogue!

The dual console configuration nestles comfortably behind the new windshield which was sincerely appreciated on our cool September testing day. The glass itself offers a wide center walk through soluation and is wrapped in black trim which accents tastefully with the Cognac interior. The final package will even incorporate a door panel underneath the center windshield section for even more wind protection and longer boating seasons.

Device chargers and beverage holders are recessed in all lounge areas while the folding black snack/dinette table can readily move from bow to midship, delivering function and comfort for you and your crew.

Her raised fiberglass helm station is a haven for any captain and features a plush seat with all the right amenities at your fingertips. I could seriously hang out on this perch all day.

A convertible backrest creates comfortable forward-facing stern seating that readily converts to rear facing and, with the standard rear rails, watching guests giggling on tubes or lounging at the sandbar has never been better. The Vogue can even be outfitted with a 12V fridge drawer under the helm seat, plus a head with holding tank and pump out system in the stern stand up change room. Even more versatility.

Underneath the Vogue lies the Performance Configuration pontoon package. This solution adds a full length centre tube, lifting strakes, full length under deck spray shield, incorporates the 49 gal (185L) fuel tank, and adds a massive in-floor storage compartment.

Our furry friends are not forgotten here either with one of the best features I have seen on a pontoon boat. Yup, this Vogue includes a slide out drawer with integrated water and food dishes for Fido. So cool!

Performance capability was running through my mind as the time arrived to depart the docks and put this package through the testing process. With the camera crew preparing to release the drone, I took advantage of the opportunity to begin learning the Vogue + Mercury 350 Verado combination.

There are no words to describe the feel of how strong this combination is at all RPM ranges. Hole shots were remarkable at an average of 3.66 seconds, meaning ‘hang onto your hat’ will be a routine reminder to all first time guests. At 47 + MPH this package will get you where you are going in a hurry with smiles abound, and when it’s time to entertain she cruises comfortably at anywhere from 24-34 MPH. She sits tall on the water and corners like she’s on rails.

The Vogue makes a statement. She is also a boat that is meant to be driven. The windshield on this package extends your boating seasons in comfort and style into spring and fall memory makers, and there is no shortage of performance to enjoy.

Boating dreams met. Well done Princecraft.
